Camo Carnival Band - 2016 Band Launch
What started off as a joke between close friends, has grown into one of the largest and most talked about bands in Boston Carnival. In 2007, Quintin "Fadda Q" Gabriel and Winston "Specialist" Marshall along a few others decided they wanted to 'infiltrate' Boston Carnival with something other than the usual pretty mas. Thus, the Camo T-Shirt Band was born! After a few years of being on hiatus from the carnival scene, the band returned in 2014 with the 'Re-Invasion' of the Camo Band. Along with efforts of band leaders Darrel "Royal" Williams, Kamal "Mr.Mal" Riley and Shawn "Mastamind" Noel, the band was a resounding success. With their eyes set on the future, the band has, for 2015 with their presentation, adopted the theme "ShipWrecked: Pirates Vs". 2015 also ushered a new element to the band, offering a sections 25 premium costumes designed by international carnival designer DesigningDaryl. Committed to being the "Band With Di Most Vibes", Camo strives to bring an unparalleled experience to all of its masqueraders.
